Our History
LifeSmart Publishing traces its origin to the 2010 launch of What I Wish I Knew at 18: Life Lessons for the Road Ahead by Founder, President, and CEO, Dennis Trittin. LifeSmart is family owned and operated and headquartered in majestic Gig Harbor, Washington.

Our Team
LifeSmart is led by Dennis Trittin, founder, President, and CEO and Arlyn Lawrence, Editor and Director of Curriculum Development. He is the author of What I Wish I Kew at 18: Life Lessons for the Road Ahead, and co-author of Wings Not Strings: Parenting Strategies to Let Go with Confidence and Parenting for the Launch: Raising Teens to Succeed in the Real World.Dennis’s biographical information is summarized in the About Dennis tab. He provides vision, direction, and operational oversight to LifeSmart, along with content development, speaking, marketing, public representation, and partnership relations.
Arlyn Lawrence is the co-author of the What I Wish I Knew at 18 Leadership and Life Skills Curriculum, Wings Not Strings: Parenting Strategies to Let Go with Confidence, and Parenting for the Launch: Raising Teens to Succeed in the Real World. She serves as editor, curriculum designer, co-author, seminar leader, and general representative for LifeSmart. Arlyn’s background in publishing includes book editing and curricular development as well as five years as a magazine editor and columnist. She also is Founder and CEO of Inspira Literary Solutions, a book development and editorial business. Arlyn has served families and educators in numerous community and faith-based organizations, including over 15 years as a director of education and special programs for teens and children. She is also a frequent writer and speaker on the topic of character, personal development, and relationships for children, young adults, and their families. She and her husband are the parents of five children and grandparents of six, and reside in Fox Island, Washington.

- What I Wish I Knew at 18:Student Guide—Christian Edition: This is the curricular companion to the book, containing lessons for Christian facilitator use and serving as the student workbook.
